Why we're building ARound

Every small business runs on one person's attention. The owner knows which customers matter, which suppliers are slow, what needs doing on Monday, and what they've been putting off for a month. It's all in their head, and there is never enough of them to go around.

The software that's supposed to help mostly doesn't. It records what already happened. It sends a report nobody reads. It adds another login. Meanwhile the actual job — decide what to do next, then do it — stays exactly where it was.

We think that's the thing worth fixing. Not another dashboard. Software that notices what's going on in your business, tells you what it would do, and then does the parts you approve.

What we're trying to do

Give owners their time back

The measure of whether this works isn't logins or clicks. It's whether you got an hour back this week and used it on something better.

Be honest when we don't know

If there isn't enough information to answer a question properly, ARound says so. A confident wrong answer is worse than no answer.

Never act behind your back

Anything that reaches a customer, spends money or makes a commitment waits for you. That's a rule we build around, not a setting.

Work for any small business

Storefront, online, appointment-based, on the road. The details differ; needing to know what to do next doesn't.

Where we are

ARound is in early access. We're working with a small number of businesses, in person, so we can see what genuinely helps and what just sounded good in a meeting. That's why the waitlist exists rather than an open sign-up button — we'd rather onboard slowly and be useful than grow fast and be ignored.

  1. NowWorking closely with our first businesses and building around what they actually run into.
  2. NextOpening to more businesses from the early access list, a few at a time.
  3. After thatWidening to more kinds of business, and more of the day-to-day work handled for you.

Come and be one of the first

The businesses who join now have the most say in what gets built.
