Location Privacy

How ARound handles location. Your exact location is used on your device to show what's nearby and to place a drop or Moment you choose to create. It is not shared with other users at full precision. Public maps (categories, Hub Map, ARound Vision) show public places and events — not people. There are no live people pins and no public heat map of individuals. If presence is ever shown to friends, it is coarse (area-level), opt-in, and time-limited. Drops and lockers you place use your chosen coordinate; gated content is never revealed in previews. You can turn off location features in Profile → Privacy and your device settings.
